Elasticity Consulting's motto is "Let good knowledge come to us from all sides."  As such, our mission is to bring knowledge from all available sources to the greatest number of people in an equitable, creative, and joyous manner.  Elasticity hopes to join the growing movement contributing positive, solution-based thinking to business, non-profit groups, the human arts, and community programs, through multi-disciplinary collaborations and in-house projects.  Elasticity's interests and passions include:

Hillary Strobel, Principle Consultant, earned a Master of Arts in Social Science: Interdisciplinary Studies, from San Francisco State University before moving to New Orleans in early 2006 to found the non-profit organization Replant New Orleans, for which she sits on the Board of Directors.  Upon returning to San Francisco in early 2008, she has dedicated her time to Elasticity, which focuses on appropriate technology use and development, as well as free exchange of information and ideas to affect positive action in these ever-changing times.  She has been a member of the Urban Alliance for Sustainability for four years and regularly contributes to the organization’s newsletter on topics ranging from solar energy to food security.  Hillary has been the managing editor of a scholarly journal and the art editor of a literary journal.  She holds a certification from the San Francisco Department for the Environment as an Organic Gardening and Composting Educator and also sits on the Board of Directors of Native Spaces, a San Francisco-based non-profit promoting the use of native plants.
